Building an International Bridge

There's a piece by Lorna Grant in the March 2012 issue of The Clarion/Le Clairon on my initiative to link our Seaway Valley Presbytery of The United Church of Canada with the United Church of Christ's Black River-St. Lawrence Association in New York State. It's on page six of The Clarion, which is published three times a year as an insert in The United Church Observer.

As the article describes, we have now established a good working relationship between the two churches, on joint projects marking the bicentennial of the War of 1812 (and the subsequent 200 years of peace between our two countries) and on cooperation in sharing best practices in mission and church life. We have been truly blessed by this partnership - thanks to the Holy Spirit for prodding us!
